Hello, I’m Roxanne Hart, a Knowledge and Evidence Specialist and our KLSAW theme today is quality and impact.
In our library team we utilise some of the tools we learned from our improvement team to measure and track progress on quality, and some of this we feed into the Library Quality and Improvement Outcomes framework which we use to assess service quality. Similarly impact is something we reflect on a lot as a team. Whilst we previously sought feedback around whether users were satisfied with their service we have changed our questions to centre around use of the information and whether it effected changes on personal practice or even a service.
I work with two areas at the moment, the Executive Team and the Primary Care and Neighbourhoods Directorate (PCN). My work with the PCN is currently happening on a trial basis at the end of which we will attempt to evaluate, using impact, my involvement has had on the team.
