Not all health conditions are visible and it is essential that when communicating health information we make every effort to ensure that it is produced in formats which are accessible to all. Additionally, the health literacy geodata tool indicates that across regions of Somerset between 55% and 65% of the population have low levels of health literacy and numeracy. This needs to be factored into the provision of any health information.
