Hello, I’m Jess Pawley and I am a Knowledge and Evidence Specialist embedded within the Trust’s Quality Improvement Team.
My role is primarily to provide evidence searches from a range of sources to support quality improvement and service change across the Trust. There is an emphasis on evidence in the QI training offer, to encourage improvers to think about what has been done elsewhere and what we can learn from this and apply it to what we are trying to achieve here.
This work is now looking to build across the planned merger with Yeovil District Hospital and the creation of a Somerset-wide Integrated Care System (ICS), with an improvement hub at the heart to promote evidence-based changed right across the system for the workforce and future healthcare provision of the county.
