HEE Patient Safety page
The Commission on Education and Training for Patient Safety published its report Improving Safety Through Education and Training in 2016. Since then Health Education England (HEE) has been delivering against the recommendations within the report nationally, regionally and in collaboration with partners. This has set a firm grounding for the next phase of educational development required to deliver the NHS Patient Safety Strategy (NPSS).
On this website, you will find the general syllabus, training resources and the general HEE strategy in terms of patient safety training.
e-learning Patient safety programme
This training programme is aimed at all NHS staff is designed to help to take all the necessary steps to ensure patients are safe while they are in care.
This training has five levels, which build on each other.

WHO Patient Safety training material
From the the development of the WHO Leaders Guide on Patient Safety and Quality of Care in Service Delivery that took place at WHO HQ in Geneva Switzerland, 20-21 March 2014, WHO has developed material to help shape patient safety training with key competencies to master.
