Knowledge Skills e-learning

The Somerset NHS Foundation Trust Leadership Framework is centred around 3 leadership behaviours, Compassion, Collaboration and Curiosity.

The following e-learning modules are available through LEAP and will give you the skills to find and critically appraise evidence, as well as use tools and techniques to mobilise knowledge within your team and beyond:

How to search the literature effectively - elearning
These modules will teach you how to search for evidence effectively using resources which have been purchased nationally by NHS England.
Critically appraise the evidence base - elearning
This course will teach you critical appraisal skills that you can use to assess the quality of evidence you find.
Knowledge mobilisation - elearning
This course sets out techniques to help you learn before, during and after particular pieces of work so that success factors can be understood, pitfalls avoided, and good practice can be shared and replicated. It also gives you tools that you can use to collaborate as a team, or with other teams or across networks, to share knowledge.
